Shirley Yap from Vancouver was in town recently and Clara and I had the pleasure of catching up with her over dinner together with a few mutual friends.

Meeting Shirley again after a lapse of more than 50 years was as if my last contact with her was only yesterday. She is still the chirpy and warm person I knew in school, and there is never a dull moment whenever she is around.

The evening was most enjoyable as it brought back many pleasant memories. Thank you, Shirley.  Let's continue to keep in touch in the spirit of true friendship!
