Among those present were several from overseas who made
the special effort to be present at the celebrations.
Charles Koh and Akbar Khan had to cancel their
trips (from the US and Malaysia respectively) at the last
minute - Charles because of a knee surgery and Akbar
because of urgent business commitments - but their
thoughts were with us through the messages they sent.
We also hoping to catch up with John Liu but he too had
to cancel his trip from the US because of business
commitments. Wong Mei Lin in Toronto also sent us her greetings.
